Apple Tart Tatin
Apple Tart Tatin Recipe
- 2 tbsp Devil's Churn, Campire Salted Carmel sauce
- 1 Granny smith apple
- 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry
- Vanilla ice cream
Preheat oven to 200C
Put the caramel sauce in the mould to cover the base. Peel and slice the apple and stack neatly on top of the caramel.
Cut a disc out of puff pastry and roll gently until approx 5mm thick. Place this on top of the apples and tuck in the edges.
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden. Carefully turn out and serve with a good scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
